Well, it appears that republicans don’t give a shit about the American people. Well what is new. I find myself a democrat these days however, I am more centered than others in the party that I belong to. It just upsets me that these people do not care about us the little people who work so hard to earn money and it all goes out on the cost of living. Yes they gave us this tax stimulus we could have banked it however most Americans needed that money to live on not to save it. We are struggling in America to survive. I am living comfortably at the moment but some people that I know are barely living. Yes I live paycheck to paycheck and I’m saving for retirement and so forth but some people can barely live. I remember growing up just eating pasta my parents taking care of me the best they could with little money. And I am proud of my folks on how they raised me but its quite sad these days that I see people having to make choices. Its getting harder to live its almost as if the government and the rich are squeezing every last dollar out of people making the middle class poor and the poor destitute. And well the funny thing is the most people that I know that don’t have money are more rich than the people that have everything they can ever want. It just upsets me that people just don’t care anymore. Its like no one cares unless it starts to effect them. People need to wake up and start caring about others. The world has become a place of greed,power, corruption and a place where no one cares about their neighbor. Its funny I always joked around with my folks and family when they would go on spouts about the end of the world. As i grow older it just amazes how the world is just sinking down and down until one of these days their won’t be any humanity left in this world. That to me is the end of the world. When everyone stops caring their won’t be anything left in this world that keeps my hopes alive that things will get better. And in all honesty things can get better. For years I have been less vocal of my opinions but maybe If i can start caring more about this world maybe I can somehow help. This is great news america, finally our lawmakers are doing something responsible for the american people. Gas prices are averaging over 4 dollars a gallon across the USA. Yes I know europe pays more for oil but we produce allot of oil in the US aswell. But anyways I know it passed the house and still has to go through the senate and then has to be signed by the president. However H.R 6377, the Energy Markets Emergency Act passed the House overwhelmingly by a bipartisan vote of 402 - 19. I’m hoping that the hot air in the senate vote to enact this bill bipartisan just like the house did so that we can show these speculators and market analysis that enough is enough and to control their gross negligance in spectulating the futures of oil. I’m so tired of the oil companies in the US making money off the poor and middle class. The rich have nothing to worry about as they can afford to spend money on gas however its the people who keep this country running that the constant increase is bleeding us dry. We need our cars to go to work some of us have to travel more than an hour to work in someplaces. Yes we could carpool and use public transportation however in some places like in Maine and other rural locations where we depend upon our vehicles to get us around we cannot rely on services that are not their. This is hurting us because we have to choose gas over food and other things because we need to keep a roof over our heads. The cost of living is not keeping up with the pay scales especially in rural area;’s were wages are low like in Maine. Thank god I work for t-mobile and they pay decent in central maine however wages in central maine to northern maine unless your a doctor or someone very skilled pay chicken feed. But hey i’m starting to feel the pain it costs me on average every fillup to just fill half my tank 40 dollars on average now and I hate to see what winter is goign to be like when I have to fill my oil tank last winter was horrible we had to choose heat over food and other things. I find it funny that now that its starting to hurt small businesses and big businesses that the government is going to start to get involved. The government should have been involved a long time ago. They need to protect the American people that’s why we elected them however yes I know that’s a myth because we don’t elect them businesses and groups elect them. The American people don’t vote people into office money does these days. And in all honesty I hate government control but the oil industry and energy markets are out of control and who is going to stop them. We could stop them but that would take a everyone in the USA to stop purchasing gas a general boycott for a week or so. Litterly shut down this country to a stand still. I know small boycotts of gas around the country have been tried but they failed because we need one which is country wide and organized. I know that is very hard to do because I have to work to keep a roof over my head and I know people have their families to take care of. Family is first in my mind and I understand how a mass boycott would effect families that is why i reluctantly agree to a control over the trading of oil and energy because temporary government control of this is what is needed to stop the madness of the market and its analysis. We all know if someone spills a barrel of oil the price increases 50 dollars lol. Its priceless. Its time the oil companies and its manipulators to be put on notice that the American people will not put up with their bull shit. We are having a bit of fun with the contractors up here in Maine. Are bank that we are going through will not give out any money to the contractors until the work has been done and inspected and well, most of the contractors are wanting to either put 1/3 of the money down now or get a little money for supplies. The bank will allow us to get money upfront for each job but their are several jobs on the outside that need to be done. And well every time a job is done we would have to pay an inspector to actually come out to the house before he can get paid and start the next job and not only will that take time it also costs a ton of cash which we do not have to be able to get this job done. So we are looking for more contractors we found someone who is willing to take a look at our property to do some work for our place who is willing to wait for the cash but who knows its like night and day one minute they tell you one thing the next minute they tell you something different. Its not like they are not going to get their money its fucking guaranteed. Now to play devils advocate a bit in my own situation I know that cost of supplies and possibly men which they employ does cost them money and I understand the situation. And that they have certain restrictions on their credit with their suppliers for products. But for pete’s sake its a job its guaranteed money and give me a break its costing us an arm and a leg to buy this house and all the fee’s with purchasing the house money is kinda tight and to come up with this huge down payment while in the process of buying a house is crazy. But oh well end of my rant lol.
Well, let me just tell you about my day on Friday. I was going to work talking on my cellphone and all of a sudden going down towards KMD near the century 21 in waterville was a freaking moose. Now well living in Maine I am used to seeing moose but well lol, not in the city. My friends at work just laughed at me and my friend Kim rather told me yep moose like downtown. Then she goes on to tell me that moose like to hangout in Bangor but anyways. It was quite shocking to me. Then i go to work and well still haven’t been scored for the week was great. I’m like wonderful though I was scored later in the day and well unfortunately I didn’t peak above 3 for a monthly average it was a good recovery from getting a 2.0 for a score earlier this month. I received a 3.5 and a 3.25 my senior was excited as it is good stats for the team we are on. Anyways things are great at work so far can’t wait to start a new month. And the kewl thing is that I actually have the a 3 day work week next week is great as I have the 4th of July off and the kewlest thing is that since Thursday is my normal day off I get Thurs-Sunday off a nice 4 day weekend. A nice break from t-mobile.
Well, it looks like we got the loan to purchase are house in Pittsfield, Maine. Its a nice house a new englander. Well, we got a loan to do some improvements on it as well so new siding/windows outside stairs, basement windows/fixing foundation but all is well its a sweet house with a nice lot of land so its going to be kewl. Though i have to sacrifice Internet connection nd probably go with time Warner cable which I can’t stand but I can get 10mbit cable so I should be alright as i have 15mbit DSL now which isn’t bad but its just going to suck to go down by 5mbit. But oh well have to sacrifice for the new house its going to be kewl.
Well, I went into work to find out one of my friends last week is no longer working the only thing that management/supervisor to respect his privacy not to say anything that he is no longer and they couldn’t give us a reason. Well…. Later speaking I understand why but its quite interesting how the process of people one day are at work and the next they aren’t. It is quite depressing sometimes that at work our group is like a small family however ever since Kevin are supervisor broke up are family has been hurt abit. With people leaving and not having a supervisor to replace Kevin its been quite tough. I got one of my lower ranked calls since Ive been at t-mobile. Now I’m not going to blame all the crap going on as to why my call sucked but it just has been abit hard. Thank god their is going to be a realignment in August and we get to pick our shifts again in July. I’m hoping to go back with my former supervisor if he gets a shift Monday - Friday as I do not want to work weekends. Though with this poor score who knows whats going to happen with my ranking in the call center. But oh well life is life at t-mobile.
Well, today at work its been a crazy day they launched this new tool today which well, made my life a bit more harder . LOL i’m used to do thing especially typing memos and notes while speaking witha customer however this new tool is suppose to speed up the process well…. LOL , I was hitting my head against the wall with this new tool today. Its going to take a while to get used to the new tool but oh well things should be okay. Got to adapt or change that’s the way life is. Still playing GTA IV took a break as I do not want to get sick of the game I want to continue to update you on new things in my life and to keep you updated on other things. Well we got a new house well its still pending filed paperwork today with the loan peeps. We purchased a nice house in pittsfield, Maine very beautiful property needs some work but that will be included in the loan we got. We were pre approved for a loan just waiting for all the paperwork to go through and will own the house or so *Cough* paying the bank off officially on July 17th. So can’t wait to have our own house as this is the first house we ever owned . We always rented and its nice to have a place you can call your own and pretty much do whatever you want. Anyways ta ta for now I’ll update you on anything new.
Sorry, I haven’t been on line in a bit to update with you. I got GTA IV and i’m really addicted to the game its like crack between the language jobs. Man I feel like a freak when I play it just makes me want to kill cops and rob banks and smoke crack LOL, jk. I know all of you anti video game violent type people do not like games like this but I have been playing games like this for years and I haven’t turned out to be a psycho, Im a productive member of society. Though my principal said I would probably end up in jail when i was younger. But being fat and picked up and treated like utter shit by your peers because they were all a bunch of ignorant assholes whose parents were the same well, who can blame me for being angry when I was in school but anyways I was a good kid just mistaken and was blamed for everything
Sorry , haven’t gotten back to any of you came into work Monday to find out that I’m average a 2.34 now Which means i got a score of like 2 plus a 2.75 which sucks for me 2 is the lowest score I have ever gotten working for t-mobile. But anyways their are going to be bad days at work. Its interesting not have Kevin around my coach/supervisor they are not replacing our coach as realignment is suppose to be in August so they are making us shorting us a coach. Today was absolutely crappy this weak started off crappy. Hopefully things will get better
Well, I live with my folks temporarily because my dad moved up here and dosen’t make enough my parents decided finally since my dads job is final that they were going to get a house. Now they were all talking that they wanted my help to share the rent for the first year or so and that we would split bills for the time being. We were looking at places we found a couple of good places however the first place we looked at that we liked went on contract the day we saw it so it sucked couldn’t put a bid down by then. Now their was a second house we looked at pretty good I liked it as a backup however friday my dad saw this house. The house has absestos sideing its an old country house dosen’t have a shower actually have to put a shower in this place it needs some work it has old fuse pannel and he likes it. My parents so liked it they wanted to show me to get my opinion because I was going to move out with them and stuff so they wanted my opinion. I didn’t like the house for the fact that A: I would have to change ISP’s even though I have issues with GWI id have to pay more and sacrifice less speed to get time warner cable. So now I will have 3 seperate bills, Dish Network,Time Warner cable which I mean its quite annoying. I could just get time warner cable but however their cable is so dam expensive for the same channels its ridiculous. B: The siding eventually will have to be replaced its going to cost my parents an arm and a leg and they don’t have the money to put that out. C: They have to spend 250 dollars to get a shower installed on the property as it has an old fashioned bath tub which I could live with. Their are allot of cosmetic things that need to be done with the house but oh well. I wouldn’t be upset with this as I don’t have to live with them which I am probably not going to now as its going to cost me more money to live out their anyways but what is upsetting is that my parents wanted my opinions that’s why they woke me up at 10:30am as i had a late night and arranged a special showing of the house for me. They already made up their minds about the place it was quite pointless for me to go their that is what ticks me off really. If they wanted the property go for it I just won’t move in I don’t have to as hehehe I’m grown and lived out on my own I was only doing it as a favor so that the first year would have been easier on them but oh well. It just upsets me that I wasted a trip out their and I know I’m selfish abit as this is my parents house their first house but if they already made up their mind it was a wasted day for me. But oh well I do wish them all the luck now I just have to go find my own place now so apartment hunting for myself again which will be nice to live on my own again.
